Random Musings on Crochet and Strangers

I spent about 5 hrs at the ER with a sick child today. No need to worry. He’s fine.

I did take my current project with me.

For some reason I knew I was going to be there long enough to make packing up every thing worth it. Even working in a crowded waiting room, I got several rows done.

Something interesting happened while I was listening to a 9 year old talk non stop. The woman sitting closest to us noticed what I was working on. She showed me a picture of what she’s working on next.

She’s going to make the owl blanket I’ve read so much about lately.

Then of course we had to compare pictures of our dogs, recently completed projects. We discussed favorite hooks. She admired the bobbin system that I use.

Carry your work with you. You never know when you’ll make a new friend.
